The Laguna Phuket International Marathon™ is excited to announce the appointment of Ms. Mika Imai as the offical ambassador for the event in Japan. Mika Imai is a veteran Marathon runner having run all over the world. She has finished Honolulu Marathon 25 times in a row. Race Director Raimund Wellenhofer said on the appointment of Mika-san: Mika is one of our most loyal runners having run every Laguna Phuket International Marathon™ since its inception in 2006. She has promoted our event in Japan informally for a long time and we are very proud to have her come on board as our official event ambassador in Japan.

Raimund Wellenhofer recently visited Japan to promote Laguna Phuket International Marathon™ at the Osaka Marathon expo together with Mika.
